How long have you been riding for?: More frequently in last 7 years. But rode to school and did some touring in my late teens, before children!
What is a typical training week for you (days p/week, intensity etc)?: About once a week, about 4 hours of moderate intensity, mixture of hills and flat. Participate in occasional longer organized rides up to 120km.
How did you prepare for your trip to Italy, was it different from your typical training?: Stepped it up to 2-3 times a week, again mixture of climbing and flatter longer distance rides. Aimed for 200km per week for 4-5 months ahead of cycling in Italy.
