How long have you been riding for? Six Years
What is a typical training week for you (days p/week, intensity etc)? Saturday and Sunday riding 60-80km each day along flat roads with coffee stop in between. Average 22km/hr. Week days 30-40 km rides along flat terrain, average 20-25km/hr. My bike is my chief mode of transport which enables exercise to be combined with activities of daily living.
How did you prepare for your trip to Italy, was it different from your typical training? I increased the duration of my rides and concentrated on improving my hill climbing ability with visits to Mount Dandenong.
